"Black Valentine" Bean Seeds
Black Valentine was first released commercially by Peter Henderson and Co. in 1887, this lovely green filet bean is known worldwide for its classic sweet and “beany” taste. This is one of those varieties that makes me wonder why anyone would ever stray from these great heirloom varieties to grow hybrids. Mauve flowers. Vigorous, productive, disease resistant, and delicious. There is nothing lacking from this bean! Has dry use value as well, for pastes and soups. Bush Type.
